Get approved for FREE six weeks of hospitality training and three weeks paid work placement when you visit the college on this January. Unemployed or underemployed residents of Ontario are able to participate in this community event.  Visit for more employment placement opportunities.

Budget Road Show 1, 2 & 3
January 21, January 23 & January 30

The City of Cambridge council is inviting the public opinion at three community information sessions.  Learn future economic plans and views brought forth by counsel and engage with the local community at one of three gatherings happening in Cambridge.  Visit for more on the Budget Road Show 2019!

Uptown Waterloo
January 25 – January 27

Take the drive from Cambridge to Uptown Waterloo for this three day family fun festival.  Four different themes make up the festival: sports, survival, culture and fire.  Turn up the heat again this year at Winterloo, celebrating its Sixteenth Anniversary this year.  Ice skating, horse and dog sled rides, scavenger hunt, exclusive arts and crafts, FREE movie screenings and more await visitors to Winterloo!

Take a walk through Mill Race Park downtown Galt or sit down on the park bench at the Ellacott Lookout, in Hespeler is another great way to break up the dead of winter.
