July is festival month in the City of Cambridge. There are lots of festivals and concerts in the park this month as summer heats up!
Cambridge Scottish Festival
July 20 – 21
Waterloo Region’s only Scottish Festival takes over Churchill Park. Experience games and cultural music Scotsman-style. Traditional foods, exhibitors and guest speakers centre around all things Scottish!
Wednesdays in July
Another free fun outing for children happens every Wednesday at Civic Square. Bring your little ones to Cambridge City Hall for singing, dancing, fun and games!
Concerts in the Park
Sundays in July
The City of Cambridge, in partnership with Music Performance Fund, will host free Sunday night concerts throughout the month. Multiple venues and genres entertain everyone from 7 p.m onwards. Visit www.cambridge.ca for full concert info and venues.
The Nationally Sanctioned Fieldstone Criterium of Cambridge Bike Race will be hosted in Galt in 2018. Upwards of 5000+ spectators are expected to watch this picturesque cycling race through the historic community. Racers will peddle by Central Presbyterian and other heritage buildings as well as traversing two bridges over the Grand River.
